Tabor receives GIANT grocery gift cards donation for families experiencing homelessness
Tabor Community Services announced GIANT Food Stores’ donation of ten $100 gift cards for participants in Tabor’s TLC program, which serves individuals, couples, and families experiencing homelessness. TLC’s Bridging Homelessness to Housing program helps participants move from homelessness to housing stability and self-sufficiency. The program provides interim housing and supportive services for over 250 individuals annually at its 52-unit facility in downtown Lancaster. Special programming is provided for veterans, citizens returning from incarceration, and families needing emergency shelter. GIANT’s grocery gift cards help TLC provide emergency relief for participants entering the program without resources to buy groceries.
Tabor Community Services is a Lancaster non-profit community benefit organization working to prevent and respond to homelessness, assist those aspiring to buy a first home, and counsel those struggling to manage personal finances.
