William “Smokey” Glover and Brian Roche recently joined the Board of Directors for Tabor Community Services.
Glover currently holds the position of senior vice president/retail sales leader for Fulton Bank’s Lancaster Region where he has worked in increasingly higher positions since 1996 and is a life-long resident of Lancaster City. Glover earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Juniata College. He is also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Advanced School of Banking, where he serves as a faculty member/facilitator.
Roche is the early evening news anchor for WGAL 8 and senior investigator of the 8 On Your Side team focusing on consumer, government, health and community issues. His work has been recently recognized by the Associated Press with the top honor for Enterprise Reporting in Pennsylvania and he has received several Emmy nominations. Roche is a graduate of Marywood University in Scranton and has more than 28 years’ experience as a broadcast journalist, anchor and producer.
Glover and Roche are both active in the Lancaster community, holding leadership positions or working with various non-profit social service agencies.
Founded in 1968, Tabor Community Services is a non-profit housing and financial counseling agency serving residents of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Tabor’s programs strive to prevent and respond to homelessness, counsel those struggling to manage their personal finances, and assist those who aspire to home ownership. Tabor serves over 4,600 Lancaster County residents annually.
