Stephany is a 25-year-old single mother of an active, fun-loving, five-year-old daughter. She had been in an abusive relationship that ended with her leaving. Shortly after that, due of several health issues, she lost her job and was unable to work. She and her daughter lived with her parents until they returned to their native country of the Dominican Republic. During this time Stephany was involved in an unhealthy friendship that led to her incarceration for 3-1/2 months. Her daughter lived with her aunt in Florida until she was released from prison. A Resilient Spirit

Jeff has experienced many setbacks and hardships in life, but his resilient spirit and positive attitude have been inspiring. As a public servant, Jeff worked at Neffsville Fire Company for 35 years before retiring due to health issues. Today, Jeff enjoys helping his local VFW with their fundraising activities. Unfortunately, he suffers from short-term memory loss caused by a series of strokes, has a loss of ambulatory skills, and had both legs amputated between 2011 and 2012. Jeff was living in a small apartment in Lititz; it wasn't handicapped-accessible. He contacted Barbara at Tabor who referred him to an agency to help him find the apartment he needed. Background I grew up on Long Island, and moved to Pennsylvania where I met my husband at Slippery Rock State College. Soon after our first child was born, we moved to Oklahoma where we lived for 12 years. We moved several times after that, ending up in Lancaster County in 2017. I have a BA in Theology from Kansas Newman College and an MA in Religious Studies from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia.
