Shelter To Independent Living Program

Tabor recently began accepting referrals and enrolling clients in the North Star Project. In this project, a caseworker collaborates with MH/MR/EI to help homeless persons with severe mental health barriers find and maintain permanent housing.

In order to be eligible, a client must:
• have a severe mental health diagnosis
• be working with an MH/MR/CSG caseworker
• be homeless according to HUD guidelines
• have been a resident of Lancaster County for at least one year or lived a substantial part of their life in the county
• be a single, unaccompanied adult
